Is Pensio free to download?
Yes, on every platform. The Free plan is yours to keep, and Pro is optional.
Is there a Pensio app for Mac?
Yes, on Macs with Apple silicon: the App Store installs it in its own window, with the desktop layout. On any other computer, Pensio runs in the browser.
Does Pensio work on Apple Watch?
Yes. The Apple Watch app comes with the iPhone app: open Pensio on the watch while the iPhone is signed in. Your watch can add to your journal, and it cannot read it.
Does Pensio work with Obsidian?
Yes. Pensio syncs your Obsidian vault and adds an intelligence layer on top, analysing each entry for emotions, themes, and relationships while your notes stay in plain Markdown.
Which AI assistants work with Pensio?
Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Visual Studio Code. Connect one from your Pensio settings and ask it about your own journal: it can look things up, and it can never write anything down.
Do I have to install anything?
No. Everything Pensio does works in the browser at pensio.app. Install an app when you want your journal a tap away.
Is it the same journal on every device?
